How it Started...
Two friends. One mission: to share their mutual love of life!
Their five decades of shared friendship, lots of laughter, and two lives well-lived have culminated into Tutus Books; a delightful book series for all ages that pairs memorable reflections and pearls of wisdom with enchanting artwork. The collaborative pair just launched an off-the-cuff, conversational, humorous, and thought-provoking podcast, Tutus Unplugged.

The Tutus
Linda Clifford is an active grandmother who lives on the Big Island of Hawaii. Her grandchildren call her "Tutu," which is how this book series got its name! Linda loves calling Hawaii home, where she dances hula, volunteers with local charities, and spends time snorkling with her ocean friends (fish, dolphins, sea turtles, etc).

Janet Hinde spends her time in her remote cabin in Washington state painting, gardening, making friends with woodland creatures, and going on adventures with her loyal dog, Whisky. Janet created all of the original artwork for this book.

The two joyfully collaborate to compile these books and their new podcast, Tutus Unplugged, with lots of love and laughter along the way. Thanks for being here and supporting the movement to share generational wisdom!

A Note From the Authors...
These are some of the "pearls of wisdom" we have learned through experiencing this magical adventure we call life. Tutu's Pearls helps us remember who we are. May this book be a gentle reminder to live a life focused on love rather than fear, and may it become the inspiration for children of all ages to lead a more joyful life. This book contains simple lessons that are easy to forget in this high-speed, ever-changing, and somewhat chaotic time. May this book plant seeds of wisdom and kindness in a world that so desperately needs those things.
We hope these pearls help you reconnect with the magic of childhood and the wonder of nature. May this book help boost your confidence and recognize your personal magnificence. Miracles are abundant in this world if we only take the time to notice them.
We hope that your experience with this book makes you feel like you just had a big hug from your Tutu!
